Welcome to our Safe Space
This is a place for everyone who works in the Univiersity Hospitals of Liverpool Group to share their views. We want to:
- Share our new strategy – our plan for the future.
- Hear what you think about it.
- Understand your hopes and your worries.
There are no right or wrong answers. You can be honest and speak in your own words.
The conversation starts on 12 February and will be live for three weeks. On the day, you will receive an email with instructions on how to get involved.

What we are asking you
We will ask four simple things:
- What good work is already happening?
- What do you need to do your job well?
- What are your hopes for the future?
- What are your fears or concerns?
This helps leaders see what is working, what needs support, and what matters most to you.
Why are we doing this?
Because the people who do the work every day know the most.
Your voice helps shape how we improve services for patients, staff, and communities.
Our promises to you
- We will listen
- We will keep your answers private
- We will share what we heard
- We will act on what we can and explain what happens next
How does it work?
The online conversation works a bit like a social media platform; you can join around your work patterns and contribute as much or as little as you like, at a time that suits you.
The process is also:
- Anonymous– your name is not attached to anything you share
- Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week while the conversation is live
- Accessible from wherever you may be– on any computer, tablet or smartphone
- Analysed independently, so you can feel safe to share how you really feel.
